CharlesCARRUTHERS(Throckley). Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on 22nd July, aged 82 years, Charles Edward (Charlie), devoted husband of Jean, beloved dad of Lesley and Mark, dear father-in-law of Paul and Nicky and doting grandad to Laura, Frances, Olivia and Joseph, also a dearest brother of Cyril and the late Miranda and Bill, dear uncle of Kim and a dear brother-in-law. Friends invited to service at St. Mary's Church, Throckley on Friday 1st August at 10.15am. Private interment to follow. All welcome afterwards to a gathering at the Swan, Heddon on the Wall.
